Suwon Metropolitan City Council Embarks on Organizational Diagnosis and Personnel Management Improvement

Suwon Metropolitan City Council held the ‘Suwon Metropolitan City Council Academic Research Review Committee’ at the council seminar room on the 19th.

The meeting was attended by Council Speaker Kim Mi-kyung, along with Committee Chair Lee Dong-yeop, Vice Chair Bae Jun-seo, review members, and related officials. Appointment certificates were presented to six newly appointed members.

The review committee placed on the agenda the ‘Suwon Metropolitan City Council Organizational Diagnosis and Personnel Management Improvement Research Project’ and deliberated on the necessity of the research, main content, and direction of implementation.

This research project is the first organizational diagnosis research undertaken since the launch of the 13th Suwon Metropolitan City Council. It was pursued to objectively analyze the overall organizational structure and personnel management operations of the council and to establish efficient organizational operations and a rational personnel system.

Council Speaker Kim Mi-kyung stated, “As the role and function of the council expands, it is important to establish efficient organizational operations and a rational personnel system befitting this expansion,” and added, “I hope this organizational diagnosis will serve as an opportunity to objectively examine the overall organizational and personnel management operations and establish a direction for future development.”

Meanwhile, the research project approved through today's deliberation is scheduled to be implemented following related procedures including securing the necessary budget.
