Suwon Metropolitan City Council held the ‘Suwon Metropolitan City Council Academic Research Review Committee’ meeting on the 19th at the council seminar room.

The meeting was attended by Council Speaker Kim Mi-kyung, Committee Chair Lee Dong-yeop, Vice Chair Bae Jun-seo, review committee members, and related officials, and appointment letters were delivered to six newly appointed members.

The review committee placed the ‘Suwon Metropolitan City Council Organizational Diagnosis and Personnel Management Improvement Research Project’ on the agenda and deliberated on the necessity of the research, main contents, and promotion direction.

This research project is the first organizational diagnosis study undertaken since the 13th Suwon Metropolitan City Council began its term, and was initiated to objectively analyze the council's overall organizational and personnel management operations and to establish efficient organizational management and a rational personnel system.

Council Speaker Kim Mi-kyung stated, “As the council's roles and functions expand, it is important to establish efficient organizational management and a rational personnel system befitting such expansion,” and added, “I hope this organizational diagnosis will serve as an opportunity to objectively examine overall organizational and personnel management operations and establish a direction for future development.”

Meanwhile, the research project that passed today's review is scheduled to proceed following related procedures including budget allocation.
