Suwon Local Food Direct Store Operates 'Fresh Sungnyeo Peaches' Direct Trade Market on 22nd

Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) will hold a 'Icheon Sungnyeo Fresh Peach Direct Trade Sales Win-Win Event' at the Suwon Local Food Direct Store from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 22nd, together with its sister city Icheon.

At the event, 4kg boxes of Icheon Sungnyeo fresh peaches, both yellow and white varieties, will be sold. Prices are: △Extra large (9-10 peaches) 37,000 won △Large (11-12 peaches) 34,000 won △Medium (13-14 peaches) 31,000 won, which are 10% or more cheaper than retail prices in Icheon.

The Suwon Local Food Direct Store regularly sells Icheon specialty products including peanuts, Icheon rice processed goods, and dairy products. Payment for event products and store merchandise can be made using Suwon Pay.

An official from Suwon City said, "This event was planned to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with sister city Icheon and provide seasonal agricultural products at reasonable prices," adding, "We hope that the activation of the direct store will lead to increased income for local farmers."
