Suwon Local Food Direct Store to Operate 'Fresh Icheon Peach' Direct Sales Market on 22nd

Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) will hold an 'Icheon Fresh Peach Direct Sales Cooperation Event' at the Suwon Local Food Direct Store from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the 22nd in conjunction with its sister city, Icheon.

The event will sell fresh Icheon peaches in yellow and white varieties in 4kg boxes. Prices are as follows: △Extra-large (9-10 fruits) 37,000 won △Large (11-12 fruits) 34,000 won △Medium (13-14 fruits) 31,000 won, which are at least 10% cheaper than retail prices in Icheon.

The Suwon Local Food Direct Store regularly sells specialty products from Icheon including peanuts, Icheon rice processed goods, and dairy products. Store products, including event merchandise, can be purchased with Suwon Pay.

A Suwon City official said, "This event was prepared to expand mutual cooperation with sister city Icheon and provide seasonal agricultural products at reasonable prices," and added, "We hope that the revitalization of the direct store will lead to increased income for local farmers."
