Hwaseong City Hyohang District Health Center Begins AI-Based Child Growth Prediction…'How Tall Will My Child Be?'
[News S=Cheon Ui-hyun] Hwaseong Special City Hyohang District Health Center announced on the 24th that it will launch an AI-based smart health management project for children targeting 650 kindergarten students at 4 facilities in the district.
The project measures height, weight, and body composition of children during their growth period, and analyzes accumulated health big data using AI to predict expected height, weight, and other growth status when children reach adulthood. Based on the prediction results, health risk factors are identified and customized health management support is provided.
The health center will complete pre-measurement of physical conditions at each kindergarten by the 31st and hold a parent briefing session next month to inform families of the project direction and health management methods.
Measurement is not a one-time occurrence. The health center plans to regularly manage health data to continuously monitor children's growth and weight changes, help develop proper lifestyle habits from early childhood, and increase parental interest.
The health center plans to analyze project effectiveness and phased expand the target population and programs.
A health center official stated, "This is a project being launched for the first time in Hwaseong City," and added, "We plan to hold a roundtable discussion with parents in September after gauging their response."
