Gyeonggi Province Library Recruits Participants for 'Youth × Studio' for Young Researchers and Creators
Gyeonggi Province Library is recruiting participants for 'Youth × Studio' until the 31st, enabling young people to freely conduct research and create works using the library's spaces and resources.
The target applicants are 4 young researchers and creators aged 19-39 who reside in Gyeonggi Province according to resident registration records as of the announcement date or are enrolled in universities or graduate schools located in Gyeonggi Province.
The recruitment fields are divided into 'Independent Researchers' in research areas such as library service design and living labs and local community issue exploration, and 'Creators and Creatives' in digital content creation fields such as media art, webtoons, and web design.
Upon selection, participants will be provided with individual workspaces on the 5th floor of Gyeonggi Province Library along with basic working environments including desks, office chairs, and cabinets for 9 months from October 1st this year through June 30th next year. Participants must operate open classes once monthly based on their research and creative activities, and share their experiences and achievements with residents by undertaking research and creative missions at Gyeonggi Province Library during the participation period.
Young people interested in participating should submit an application form, self-introduction and research/activity plan, portfolio, and personal information collection and usage agreement by 6 p.m. on August 31st to the responsible staff member's email (kaddish@gg.go.kr).
Successful applicants in the document review will be announced on September 8th, and final winners will be announced on September 30th following a presentation interview on September 15th.
