Hwaseong City Culture and Tourism Foundation Hosts Hwaseong City Arts Company Orchestra "Concert Lounge III: Masterpiece & Classic"
[News S=Cheon Ui-hyun Reporter] The Hwaseong City Culture and Tourism Foundation announced it will host the Hwaseong City Arts Company Orchestra planned performance "Concert Lounge III: Masterpiece & Classic" at Nulim Art Hall on September 9.
"Concert Lounge" is a planned performance series designed to allow audiences to experience the diverse charms of classical music up close, and this will be the third installment.
At this performance, cellist Kim Jung-ah will serve as a collaborating artist, performing Tchaikovsky's "Rococo Variations." The Hwaseong City Arts Company Orchestra will also present the first movement of Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 "Fate," delivering powerful energy and densely-woven ensemble sound.
Im Dong-guk, Artistic Director of the Hwaseong City Orchestra, said "This is a stage that conveys the depth and charm of classical masterpieces with an outstanding collaborating artist" and "I hope citizens will enjoy high-quality classical performances in their everyday lives."
Admission is available for ages 7 and up, with all seats priced at 10,000 won. A 30% discount is offered for early bookings until the 21st. Reservations can be made through the Hwaseong City Performance Hall website and Nolti Ticket.
