Hwaseong City Culture and Tourism Foundation to Host Hwaseong City Art Company Orchestra 'Concert Lounge III: Masterpiece & Classic'

[News S=Cheon Ui-hyun Reporter] The Hwaseong City Culture and Tourism Foundation announced that it will hold a planned performance by the Hwaseong City Art Company Orchestra, "Concert Lounge III: Masterpiece & Classic," at Noorim Art Hall on September 9.

"Concert Lounge" is a series of planned performances designed to allow audiences to experience the diverse charms of classical music up close, with this being the third installment.

At this concert, cellist Kim Jung-a will perform as a guest artist, playing Tchaikovsky's "Variations on a Rococo Theme." The Hwaseong City Art Company Orchestra will also present the first movement of Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 'Fate,' delivering powerful energy and densely woven ensemble performance.

Im Dong-guk, artistic director of the Hwaseong City Orchestra, said, "This is a stage that conveys the depth and charm of classical masterpieces alongside an outstanding guest artist," adding, "We hope citizens will enjoy high-quality classical performances in their daily lives."

Admission is available for ages 7 and older, with all seats priced at 10,000 won. Early bookings made by the 21st will receive a 30% discount. Reservations can be made through the Hwaseong City Performance Hall website and Nol Ticket.
