Osan City (Mayor Jo Yong-ho) announced on the 18th that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Green Umbrella at the mayor's office to promote healthy growth and welfare of local children.

The signing ceremony was attended by Osan Mayor Jo Yong-ho, Green Umbrella Chairman Hwang Young-gi, Green Umbrella Gyeonggi Region 1 Headquarters Director Yeo In-mi, and singer Andy, a Green Umbrella publicity ambassador.

The agreement was established to provide necessary support to children facing economic difficulties. Green Umbrella pledged sponsorship totaling 1.7 billion won for children in the Osan area.

The sponsorship funds will be used for providing goods to nine community child centers within the city and supporting vulnerable children.

Green Umbrella Chairman Hwang Young-gi said, "We will cooperate with Osan City so that children in the community can receive the help they need through this agreement," and added, "We will continue our support so that children can grow up healthily."

Osan Mayor Jo Yong-ho said, "Interest and cooperation from the local community are necessary for children to grow up in a stable environment," and added, "We will work together to ensure that necessary support continues for children in need."

Meanwhile, Green Umbrella is promoting child welfare projects that support the healthy development of children, and has provided approximately 600 million won to 461 children in Osan City over the past two years.
