[News S=Reporter Eom In-yong] The Seoul-Gyeonggi Headquarters of Korea Expressway Corporation announced it is promoting a "customer-participatory food taste improvement project" that reflects customers' genuine voices in on-site operations to improve the taste and quality of rest area food.

This project has been designed not to merely collect customer opinions on expressway rest stop food on a one-time basis, but to establish a systematic continuous feedback system that leads from opinion collection to data analysis to on-site improvement, allowing customers to directly experience changes.

To maximize customer accessibility, the headquarters is operating continuous communication channels by attaching QR code stickers on tables inside and outside restaurant areas at 20 rest stops under its jurisdiction, enabling customers to easily share opinions simply by scanning QR codes without downloading a separate app or signing up for membership.

Collected customer feedback will be segmented and analyzed by menu type, then shared in real time with each rest stop operator to reflect in on-site measures.

In particular, the headquarters plans to support on-site consulting by food industry experts for rest stops requiring improvements in taste and service to drive substantial improvements in food quality.

Lee Jung-hwan, director of the Rest Area Business Division of Seoul-Gyeonggi Headquarters, stated: "Each small piece of customer feedback regarding rest area food can become an important standard for service improvement," adding "We will continue to provide delicious rest services that satisfy users through ongoing communication and quality management."
