[News S=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] The Gyeonggi Province Office of Education has designed and is operating 'G-i-S·A·M' (Gyeonggi-type Education and Childcare Expert Training System) to systematically enhance professionalism in education and childcare fields for advancing Gyeonggi-type childcare integration.

The Gyeonggi-type education and childcare expert training system 'G-i-S·A·M' is a Gyeonggi-type education and childcare expert training system designed to supplement the limitations of short-term, one-off training and support continuous professional growth.

Based on Gyeonggi-type infant and young children-centered values realization and educational innovation, it is designed to enable growth through three stages: Standard (basic), Advanced, and Master.

Additionally, centered on three core competencies—△curriculum expertise △understanding of educational ecosystem and △on-site growth support capability—it is structured to expand professionalism by stage, from curriculum understanding to on-site implementation and support.

This advanced training will operate for a total of 30 hours from the 11th to the 26th, targeting 60 participants who completed the 2025 basic course. It will enhance professionalism and implementation capabilities needed for on-site support, focusing on childcare integration policies, understanding education and childcare curriculum, consulting operation directions, and practical cases.

Subsequently, training participants will be utilized as on-site experts (consultants) supporting childcare integration pilot projects and quality improvement of education and childcare curriculum.

The Provincial Office of Education plans to continually support the stable establishment of Gyeonggi-type childcare integration on-site by further enhancing the quality of education and childcare through expert training and on-site consulting, and alleviating gaps between kindergartens and childcare facilities.
