Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival welcomes Saesonyeon and five Indie Stands finalists
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 10th the final lineup for the '2026 Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival,' which now includes Saesonyeon and five finalist teams from 'Indie Stands.'
The festival's major performers this year are YB, NELL, Saesonyeon, Crying Nut, and Cherry Filter. Kim Min-gyu (Delispice·Sweet Pea), Nae Gwiae Doecheong Jangchi, Dadada, The Fix, Lua Melle, Windy City, Joong Sik Yi, Catch The Young, Kirara, Te Jong, Line 3 Butterfly, Can't Be Blue, and Maemi will also take the stage.
International musicians participating include Heaven Brought Me Hell from Singapore, Juui Hatsu from Taiwan, and ASH DA HERO from Japan, who will showcase diverse music to domestic audiences.
The five finalist teams from 'Indie Stands,' an indie musician discovery project hosted by the Gyeonggi Content Agency, including Mombrims, Shepherd Boys, Confined White, Sanbo, and Gugudu, will perform in the festival's main stage finals.
The finalist teams will share the festival stage with domestic and international musicians including YB, NELL, and Saesonyeon to meet audiences. It is expected to provide emerging musicians with experience performing at a large-scale music festival and introduce audiences to new indie musicians.
The '2026 Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival' will be held for two days from October 17 to 18 at Suwon Seoho Grass Plaza. Details about the performance schedule and ticket reservations can be found on the official website and social media.
Kang Ji-sook, director of Gyeonggi Province's Content Industry Division, said, "With the addition of Saesonyeon and the five Indie Stands finalists, the final lineup for this year's Gyeonggi Indie Music Festival has been confirmed," and "We will prepare a stage bringing together musicians active domestically and internationally and emerging musicians with promising growth potential."
