Anseong to Host Korea's Only 'Women's Aura Trail' at Geumgwang Lake

Anseong City announced that the ‘Women's Aura Trail’ event for female trail runners will be held around Geumgwang Lake on September 13.

The event is organized in connection with the ‘Gyeonggi Run Tour’ project promoted by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, and is hosted and managed by MoonCademy Co., Ltd. and Shell Corporation. Approximately 300 female runners will participate, running along the waterfront paths and forest trails of Geumgwang Lake while enjoying Anseong's natural scenery.

The event will run from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the race starting at 8 a.m. Participants will depart from Suseokjeong Waterfront Garden, running through Park Du-jin Literature Trail, Cheongrok Field, Gyeonggi Ring Trail, and Geumbuk Ridge Ecological Exploration Trail before returning to the starting point. The event offers four courses: 5km, 10km, 15km, and 20km. The courses are designed to accommodate both trail running beginners and experienced runners, allowing participants to choose distances suited to their fitness levels and experience.

Registration is available on the Kletoo website until August 26. To promote local collaboration and expand participation opportunities for Anseong residents, the first 50 Anseong residents to apply will receive a 50% discount on entry fees. Applicants should enter the discount code 'ANSEONG' during registration, and final participation will be confirmed after verification of Anseong residency.
