Gwangmyeong City Recruits Participating Companies for Business Environment Improvement Project by September 17
Gwangmyeong City (Mayor Park Seung-won) will recruit participating companies for the "2027 Business Environment Improvement Project" from the 20th of this month through September 17 to improve the working environment for small and medium-sized enterprises.
This project accepts applications across four sectors: labor environment, knowledge industry centers, work environment, and fire safety facilities.
The labor environment sector supports the installation and renovation of worker welfare facilities including dormitories, cafeterias, restrooms, shower facilities, and break areas. The knowledge industry center sector supports public facilities such as parking lots and restrooms, as well as renovation of machinery and electrical equipment.
The work environment sector supports renovation of floors, ceilings, and walls in work spaces, as well as installation of work tables, storage racks, and ventilation and dust collection systems. The fire safety facilities sector strengthens enterprise safety management by supporting the installation and renovation of fire safety facilities including fire detection systems, fireproofing, and sprinkler systems.
Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in the city that have been in business for at least one year after business registration, and knowledge industry centers that have been in operation for at least seven years after completion, and must meet detailed support requirements for each sector.
Companies wishing to apply can download the application form from the notice board on the Gwangmyeong City website (gm.go.kr), complete it, and submit it in person to the Investment Attraction Division of Gwangmyeong City Hall.
Following recruitment, the final list of eligible companies will be selected in January 2027 after on-site inspections and deliberations by the Gyeonggi Province Business Development and Support Council.
