Neuroscientist Dr. Jang Dong-seon to Give Special Lecture on 'Parenting in the AI Era' on the 29th

Gyeonggi Province and the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association's Gyeonggi Chapter will hold a special lecture by neuroscientist and science communicator Dr. Jang Dong-seon on the theme of 'Parenting in the AI Era' on the 29th at 10 a.m. in the auditorium on the third floor of the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation.

This special lecture has been organized to collectively consider parents' roles and future directions in child-rearing amid rapid social environmental changes, including artificial intelligence (AI), and to promote consensus on family-friendly parenting culture.

Dr. Jang Dong-seon will examine the changes that AI technological development will bring to our daily lives, education, and child-rearing, and will discuss what kinds of relationships parents should build with their children amid these changes, as well as what competencies children will need to thrive in future society.

Any Gyeonggi Province resident can participate. Online applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. on August 20th, with 70 families selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
