Pyeongtaek City Holds Award Ceremony for 'Outstanding Enterprise Products'

Pyeongtaek City (Mayor Choi Won-yong) announced on the 14th that it held a certificate and plaque award ceremony for 11 outstanding product companies selected through recruitment and evaluation of the '2026 Pyeongtaek City Outstanding Product Selection Support Project' at the City Hall Integrated Defense Situation Room.

The 'Pyeongtaek City Outstanding Product Selection Support Project' is an initiative to discover excellent technologies and products held by small and medium-sized enterprises in the area, promote them as regional representative outstanding products to enhance corporate brand value and expand sales channels. The project was first implemented last year, with the Pyeongtaek Industrial Promotion Agency conducting recruitment and product selection, while the city presents certificates and plaques to selected companies.

The evaluation is conducted by a review committee composed of external reviewers based on product excellence and competitiveness, selecting a total of 11 companies: 1 grand prize, 2 best excellence awards, 3 excellence awards, and 5 encouragement awards.

Approximately 30 people, including Mayor Choi Won-yong and Lee Hak-ju, director of the Pyeongtaek Industrial Promotion Agency, as well as company representatives and related personnel, attended the ceremony to congratulate the selected companies. The event included a time for company representatives to introduce their products directly and networking among attendees, during which discussions were held on promotional methods to increase public awareness and customized sales channel expansion plans to boost company sales, receiving strong positive response from company representatives.

The grand prize was awarded to Ascendia Inc.'s 'UnityX (All-on-One RF Platform)'. The best excellence awards went to Lumitech's 'Dual-Curved Light Guide and Diffuser Integrated Vehicle Ambient Lighting Optical Module' and Ains Inc.'s 'Upcycled Processed Foods (Confectionery) Utilizing Pyeongtaek Agricultural Products'.

The excellence awards were given to Chamiso Agricultural Company Inc.'s 'Fermented Vegetable Protein Shake (7-pack)', Power Auto System Inc.'s 'Agentic-SPM (Smart Selective Soldering Product)', and Good Alcohol Agricultural Company Inc.'s 'Cheonbihyang Herbal Wine'.

The encouragement awards were presented to Doph Inc.'s 'High-Concentration Amino Acid Activator', Tolstoles' 'Tolstoles Bamboo Spa Wash', Nok-don Young Farmers Association's 'Deun-deun Hamburger Steak', NP Korea Inc.'s 'Welding Partition NP-WP612', and Vision Information & Communications Inc.'s 'Context-Aware and Object Recognition-Based Public Safety Response Convergence LED Lighting System'.

Mayor Choi Won-yong said in his address, "I appreciate the efforts of business leaders who have created outstanding products through continuous technological development and innovation despite difficult economic conditions," and added, "I will continue to expand support tailored to the growth stage and needs of enterprises so that the products selected today can grow into representative outstanding products of Pyeongtaek and advance into wider markets."
