Suwon's Jangahn-gu Jowon 1-dong and Yonsei University FMP 58th Class Share Lunch with Children

On the 10th, Jowon 1-dong in Suwon's Jangahn-gu held a lunch sharing event with approximately 100 children at local community child centers in cooperation with Yonsei University Graduate School of Living Environment FMP 58th Class.

The event was organized to help local children recover their energy during the intense heat and to support their healthy growth. The lunch was directly prepared by approximately 20 representative leaders of the Yonsei University FMP 58th Class who operate dining establishments, pooling their efforts together.

The event took place at 'Dongggang Clear Trout' (Representative: Son Myung-hee) located in Jowon 1-dong. The participating food industry representatives provided meals consisting of cold noodles and beef jeon, and spent quality time chatting and enjoying themselves with the children.

Lee Wan-sung, chairperson of Yonsei University FMP 58th Class, said, "It is even more meaningful to be able to care for the children's summer health by pooling together the expertise and sincerity of the restaurant industry that our members possess," and added, "We will continue to carry forward our sharing that provides strength to local children and neighbors."

Yoon Hyun-seop, head of Jowon 1-dong, stated, "We are grateful to the members of Yonsei University FMP 58th Class for giving their precious time and care for the children." He continued, "We hope this meal sharing becomes a joyful memory and steady encouragement for the children. The Administrative Welfare Center will also work hard to cooperate with the local community to create an environment where children can grow up healthy."
