Suwon Special City Council to Listen to Citizens' Voices Without Filter on the 14th
The Suwon Special City Council will hold the "1st Open Council Politics and Citizen Dialogue" on the 14th at 2 p.m. in the first-floor lobby of the Suwon Special City Council building to mark the opening of the 13th Council and to communicate directly with citizens.
The event has been organized to listen to citizens' voices firsthand and faithfully reflect them in council activities. It will serve as a communication platform where citizens freely share various field opinions, including their expectations for the 13th Council and the role they hope the council will play, as well as inconveniences they experience in daily life and policies that need to be prioritized.
The event will be attended by Council Speaker Kim Mi-kyung, council members of Suwon Special City, relevant government officials, and pre-registered citizens, who will directly convey local issues, daily inconveniences, and their hopes for the council and freely exchange opinions.
On the day, under the theme of "Our Hopes for the 13th Suwon Special City Council," citizens will freely propose their hopes for the council, inconveniences in daily life, and policies needed for regional development, while council members will listen to citizens' opinions directly and discuss together.
Council Speaker Kim Mi-kyung stated, "We seek to find answers to our council activities by listening directly to citizens' voices." She added, "Through this citizen dialogue, I will listen attentively to each citizen's opinion and faithfully reflect it in our council activities. Going forward, we will continue to meet and communicate with citizens and build a 'Council that Opens Together with Citizens, Citizens, and Citizens.'"
