News S has welcomed Choi Min, Korea's leading political cartoonist and chairman of the National Association of Political Cartoonists, as a new columnist. Since entering the field as a political cartoonist in 1987, Choi Min has published works in numerous media outlets including Joongbu Ilbo, Ilgan Oeneul, IT Daily, Wolgan Mal, and Cartoon Journal News Toon. In 2013, his work was published in Le Monde, a leading French daily newspaper. He currently runs a series titled "Choi Min's Political Cartoons" on Minjung's Voice.

He has dedicated himself to raising awareness of political cartoons' social value and establishing the historical legitimacy of Korean comics. He led the establishment of "Day of Political Cartoons (June 2)" and has spearheaded the installation of a monument commemorating the birthplace of Korean comics and projects celebrating the centennial of Korean comics. He serves as representative of the International Forum for Editorial Cartooning (IFEC), the Korea-France Cultural and Arts Forum, and Korea Cartoon for Peace, while also serving as an operations committee member of the Bucheon International Comics Festival and chairperson of the International Comic Art Festival.

He has been a leading figure in international exchange. He has signed memoranda of understanding with the French International Editorial Cartoon Salon and the Legnica Cultural Center in Poland, and has invited overseas figures including the chairman of the American Editorial Cartoonists Association and writers from Le Monde to Korea. Since 2009, he has been annually invited to the French "International Editorial Cartoon and Humor Salon" as a representative Korean cartoonist.

He is also active as an exhibition curator. In addition to "Peace and Independence Movement on the Korean Peninsula" at the Saint-Brieuc Municipal Museum of Art in France and the "Korean Wave Cartoon Concert" exhibition in Nantes, he has presented numerous domestic exhibitions with social messages, including "Dokdo Cartoons," "Drawing the 4.3 Incident and the Era," and "Universal Basic Income Cartoons." He has received the Cartoonist of the Year Award for Political Cartoons, the Lee Do-young Political Cartoon Award, and the 11th Korean Economic Culture Award. His publications include "Political Cartoons of Satire, Humor, and Hope."
