Korea Rehabilitation and Welfare Service, Gyeonggi East Branch Delivers Support Items to Model Subjects' Families
The Gyeonggi East Branch of Korea Rehabilitation and Welfare Service held a support item delivery ceremony and family education program for model subjects' families at the Korea Crime Prevention Foundation on the 7th.
The household support initiative, funded by the Korea Crime Prevention Foundation and Moonju Scholarship Foundation, was designed to prevent crime in model subjects' families striving for social self-reliance and to guarantee stable learning rights for children who tend to be marginalized.
Vice President Jo Young-gon, who attended the delivery ceremony, personally handed over household support items, honoring the meaningful purpose of the sponsorship.
In addition to the item delivery ceremony, a special educational program was conducted to narrow the psychological distance between family members. Through the 'Family Heart-to-Heart Program' incorporating drawing, participants engaged in genuine conversations among family members that had not been shared before and fostered smooth communication. Professional psychological assessments were also conducted to help members understand one another's feelings, and gratitude letters were exchanged to add deeper meaning to the event.
A recipient of the support stated, "I sincerely thank the corporation and foundation for their keen interest in our family's self-reliance and children's education and their warm support. Encouraged by this gesture, I will live more faithfully and exemplarily."
Vice President Jo Young-gon of the Korea Crime Prevention Foundation said, "Though our support may be modest, we hope it will be of practical help to the families in question, and we express our deep gratitude for the corporation's dedication to social reintegration. Going forward, the Korea Crime Prevention Foundation will continue to serve as a steadfast partner in supporting crime prevention and the realization of a safe society."
Jo Hee-won, Branch Director of the Gyeonggi East Branch, stated, "We deeply appreciate the Korea Crime Prevention Foundation and Moonju Scholarship Foundation for their support in helping model subjects' families settle stably in society and allowing their children to pursue their dreams. The corporation will continue to spare no effort in providing diverse welfare support and strengthening family function programs so that the subjects' families can emerge as healthy members of society."
