Suwon Metropolitan Council Visits 9th Dadam Photo Exhibition to Support Developmental Disability Artists
The Suwon Metropolitan Council (Chairman Kim Mi-kyung) attended the opening ceremony of the '9th Dadam Photo Exhibition—"Sweet and Fragrant Records"' held on the 19th at the complex cultural space 111CM, congratulating the exhibition and encouraging participating artists.
The exhibition, which included participation from the Suwon Jeongja-dong Disability Day Service Facility, featured 21 works created by developmental disability artists who directly photographed 'desserts' as subject matter and added their individual characteristics using AI technology.
In particular, this Dadam Photo Exhibition was organized as part of the 2026 Suwon Cultural Foundation 111CM planned exhibition 'Breaking the Day—II' in celebration of the 'Year of Suwon Visit,' providing an opportunity to showcase the artists' works to a wider audience of citizens.
Chairman Kim Mi-kyung said, "This is an exhibition through which we can view familiar everyday subjects anew through works infused with the artists' perspectives and imagination," and added, "I hope this photo exhibition becomes an opportunity for the artists to showcase their individuality and talents, and a time for citizens to share their thoughts and emotions through the works."
