Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science and Technology Promotion Agency (hereinafter GEPA) are recruiting startups to participate in one-on-one company meetings (meetups) for the ‘2026 Gyeonggi Startup Summit (G-SUMMIT 2026)’ to be held at Suwon Convention Center from October 14 to 15, through August 21.

The ‘Gyeonggi Startup Summit’ is a global startup event hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by GEPA, which connects innovative startups with domestic and international investment institutions and large and mid-sized enterprises to provide opportunities for investment attraction, business cooperation, and overseas expansion.

This year's one-on-one on-site meetups will feature more than 150 domestic and international investment and cooperation organizations, including venture capital firms (VC), accelerators (AC), and corporate venture capital firms (CVC) such as POSCO Tech Investment, HL Group, and Kyobo Life Insurance, as well as large and mid-sized enterprises. Participating startups will be able to meet directly with interested investment firms and companies to discuss investment prospects and business cooperation possibilities.

Startups wishing to participate in the one-on-one on-site meetup for the ‘2026 Gyeonggi Startup Summit’ can apply on the official Gyeonggi Startup Summit website (g-startupsummit.or.kr) by August 21. General visitors and startup-related personnel wishing to observe the event can register for free admission from August 24 to October 13 through advance registration.

In particular, this year will operate a pre-investment meetup program (Invest Connect) and link it with the one-on-one on-site meetups at the October main event to continue investment discussions. At the first pre-investment meetup held on June 30, 60 meetups achieved an investment consideration amount of 17 billion won. The second pre-investment meetup will take place over two days from August 19 to 20.

Ryu Soon-yeol, Head of the Venture Startup Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, “This year, we are focusing on linking pre-investment meetups, the main event, and follow-up investment reviews to expand substantive investment opportunities for investors,” and added, “We will actively support promising startups in meeting with investment institutions and taking a leap into the global market.”
