Yeongtong-gu, Suwon Special City (District Chief Park Sa-seung) held a practical study 'Dongshimjieon' on the 12th with participants from dong and gu departments in charge of integrated care projects.

This study was organized to review the implementation status of integrated care projects and share major challenges and on-site cases emerging from the field. It also aimed to strengthen organic collaborative systems between dong administrative welfare centers and gu office practitioners to provide resident-centered integrated care services more stably.

Participants exchanged views on potential problems and improvement measures that may arise during the integrated care project implementation process and beneficiary support process, with particular focus on support plans for priority target groups including long-term care in-home service recipients and elderly persons with disabilities.

An official from Yeongtong-gu's Social Welfare Division said, "We will proactively identify residents in need of care and build an integrated care system tailored to Yeongtong-gu's characteristics based on close cooperation between dong administrative welfare centers and gu office personnel."

Meanwhile, Yeongtong-gu plans to strengthen response capacity for integrated care projects requiring collaboration through regular practitioner exchanges and continuously promote resident-centered integrated care services.
