Icheon City and Gyeonggi Province Social Service Center Sign 'Care' Cooperation Agreement
[News S=Reporter Eom In-yong] Icheon City announced on the 4th that it has signed a cooperation agreement on community-tailored integrated care with the Gyeonggi Province Social Service Center.
The agreement signed on this day aims to establish an integrated care system tailored to local circumstances and was pursued as part of efforts to enhance Icheon City's customized integrated care delivery system.
Following the agreement, it is expected that the effectiveness of community-centered integrated care policies can be enhanced after the implementation of the 'Act on Integrated Support for Regional Care Including Medical and Long-term Care Services.'
Both organizations will jointly review the overall operation of Icheon City's integrated care system and discover improvement tasks that reflect local characteristics.
Additionally, they plan to strengthen service resource surveys and coordination systems while developing an integrated care operation manual that can be utilized by field practitioners.
Gyeonggi Province Social Service Center Director An Hye-young said, "I find it meaningful that through cooperation with Icheon City, we will be able to jointly create an integrated care model that reflects local characteristics," and added, "As a specialized organization, the Gyeonggi Province Social Service Center will actively support field-oriented consulting and operational assistance so that Icheon City's integrated care delivery system can be stably established."
Icheon Mayor Sung Su-seok said, "Integrated care is an important task that must be built not only by administrative agencies but also by the community," and stated, "Based on cooperation with the Gyeonggi Province Social Service Center, we will further strengthen the community-centered integrated care system so that citizens can continue to live healthy and safe lives where they have always lived."
