Suwon Youth Half-Price Officetels 'Saebit Youth Zone'... Resident Recruitment Begins
[News S=Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will recruit residents for "Saebit Youth Zone" 4, a transit-oriented officotel tailored for youth, through the 28th of this month.
Unit 4 is located 50 meters from Suwon City Hall Station and will supply a total of 141 units. The city is also recruiting reserve residents for 10 vacant units in which contracts ended in Unit 1 at Gwonseon-dong.
Recipients of basic living allowance can move in with a deposit of 1 million won and rent at 40% of market rates, while general youth can do so with a deposit of 2 million won and rent at 50% of market rates. After an initial two-year contract, residents can renew for four additional two-year terms, allowing them to live there for up to 10 years.
Applicants must be unmarried youth aged 19 to 39 years old who are residents of Suwon City. The age limit, previously set at 34 years old, has been relaxed starting this recruitment round. Applicants must also meet asset standards, including an average monthly income of 4,576,063 won or less.
Saebit Youth Zone is a youth housing support project that Suwon City and the Korea Land and Housing Corporation have been pursuing since an agreement in 2022, with one new site created each year. Applications can be made through Saebit Talk Talk, and winners will be announced on November 20.
