Byeongjeom 1-dong, Hwaseong Special City Presents Appreciation Plaques to 6 Sharing Stores
On the 24th, Byeongjeom 1-dong in Byeongjeom-gu, Hwaseong Special City visited six sharing stores in the area together with the Community Social Security Council of Byeongjeom 1-dong, presented appreciation plaques, and conducted meal sharing for low-income seniors.
The event was organized to express gratitude to sharing stores that have consistently sponsored food and meals for those in need, boost the pride of participating stores, and spread a culture of sharing within the community.
The dong chief and members of the Community Social Security Council personally visited each sharing store to present plaques and encouraged store owners who have continued to share warmth with those in need in the community.
The six sharing stores that received plaques are △Tous les Jours △Nongga △Compose Coffee △Jjamppong Gak △ParuthadaY △Michineun Samgyeopsal Miwoone. These stores regularly sponsor food such as bread, meals, beverages, and meal coupons, extending warmth to those in need. Nongga and Compose Coffee operate in the same location and installed a joint plaque.
In connection with Nongga's regular meal support, galbi-tang and beverages were provided to 30 low-income seniors. Byeongjeom 1-dong and Community Social Security Council members checked on the seniors' health and confirmed their well-being, adding meaning to neighborhood care.
Dong Chief Jung Tae-sang stated, "I am grateful to the store owners who have consistently shared warm hearts for those in need," and added, "I hope this plaque will serve as an opportunity to promote the value of long-standing sharing while inspiring new participation in sharing throughout the community."
