Hwaseong Special City (Mayor Jung Myung-geun) is hosting the '2026 Hwaseong Special City Multi-Child Policy Idea Contest' to discover practical, citizen-centered multi-child policies that reflect residents' daily lives and experiences.

The contest was designed to discover innovative and practical multi-child policy ideas from citizens' perspectives and reflect outstanding proposals in city administration.

The contest theme is 'Practical Multi-Child Policy Ideas Needed for Hwaseong Special City.' Participants can propose various policies that provide tangible benefits to multi-child families, including △ideas for culture, experience, and leisure activities utilizing public facilities, and △services that can reduce childcare burdens in daily life for multi-child households.

The application period runs until September 6, and any member of the public interested in Hwaseong Special City can participate. Submitted proposals will undergo first-round document screening and second-round expert review to select final winners.

Expert judges will comprehensively evaluate △theme relevance △feasibility △creativity △sustainability, and △practicality, with final winners to be announced in October.

The city plans to select five winning entries and award a total of 4 million won in prize money and certificates in the name of the Hwaseong Mayor, including △one grand prize winner of 1.5 million won △one excellence award winner of 1 million won, and △three encouragement award winners of 500,000 won each.
