Suwon Civic Chorus Lawn Concert 'A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along' Held on August 28 at Suwon Open-Air Concert Hall [Art S]

The Suwon Civic Chorus announced that it will hold the ‘2026 Lawn Concert - A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along’ with citizens on August 28 at Suwon Open-Air Concert Hall.

This year's performance will feature an amateur citizen chorus group called ‘We Singers’ on stage, performing together with the audience in a sing-along format. The core concept is ‘Sing-Along,’ which breaks down the boundary between stage and audience, allowing all attendees to sing along together.

The performance, conducted by artistic director Kim Bo-mi, opens with a prologue featuring the Project Pops Orchestra and a contemporary dance team. A gala show featuring musical numbers and pop classics follows.

The recommended dress code is white tops. When citizens gather wearing white clothing, the lawn is expected to create a spectacular sight resembling a summer night sky. Singer Lee Juck will make a special appearance, performing songs including ‘Thank Goodness’ and ‘As You Say.’

The Lawn Concert, which began in 2003 and celebrates its 24th anniversary this year, is the flagship concert of the Suwon Civic Chorus held annually on the last Friday of August. Admission is free and no advance reservation is required.
