Suwon Municipal Chorus 'A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along' Held on August 28 at Suwon Open-Air Concert Hall [Art S]

Suwon Municipal Chorus in Gyeonggi Province announced it will hold the ‘2026 Grassland Concert - A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along’ with citizens on August 28 at Suwon Open-Air Concert Hall.

This year's performance will feature amateur citizen chorus ‘We Singers’ performing on stage alongside the audience in a format where they sing together. The core concept is ‘Sing-Along,’ which breaks down the boundary between stage and audience, with all spectators joining in to sing along.

The concert, conducted by Artistic Director Kim Bo-mi, will open with an overture featuring Project Pops Orchestra and contemporary dance team. A gala show featuring musical numbers and pop classics will follow.

The recommended attire is white upper clothing. As citizens gather wearing white, the grassland is expected to create a spectacular sight resembling a summer night sky. Singer Lee Juck will make a special appearance, performing songs including ‘Thank Goodness’ and ‘As You Say.’

Beginning in 2003 and now in its 24th year, the Grassland Concert is held on the last Friday of August each year as a signature planned performance by Suwon Municipal Chorus. Admission is free and no advance reservation is required.
