Gapyeong County Conducts Final Safety Inspection for Gyeonggi Province Disabled Life Sports Games

Gapyeong County announced on the 26th that it conducted a final safety inspection of the Jara Island event venue ahead of the opening of the "20th Gyeonggi Province Disabled Life Sports Games."

County Governor Seo Tae-won and related officials participated in the inspection, comprehensively reviewing the facilities and convenience amenities at the Jara Island event venue, where the opening ceremony will be held on the 28th. Participants carefully checked various areas of the venue to ensure that no safety accidents occur during the games.

County Governor Seo Tae-won said, "We will thoroughly inspect the site until the end and do our best in preparations so that the Gyeonggi Province Disabled Life Sports Games can be held safely and successfully. We will ensure there are no gaps in safety management so that both athletes and visitors can enjoy the games with peace of mind."

The 20th Gyeonggi Province Disabled Life Sports Games will be held throughout Gapyeong County from the 28th, beginning with the opening ceremony on Seo Island of Jara Island, through the 29th.
