Hwaseong Special City Seeks Top 5 Shine Muscat Farms

Hwaseong Special City (Mayor Jung Myeong-geun) is recruiting farms to participate in the "2026 Hwaseong Special City Shine Muscat Evaluation Conference with Producers" for five days from the 24th to the 28th to encourage high-quality Shine Muscat production and discover outstanding farms.

Applicants must be Shine Muscat farms operating within Hwaseong Special City. Farms wishing to participate should apply by visiting the Hwaseong City Agricultural Technology Center's Premium Fruit Project Office (92 Sakang-ro, Songsan-myeon) during the application period.

Application forms can be downloaded from the Hwaseong Special City Hall website's City Announcements section, the Hwaseong City Agricultural Technology Center website's notices, or by using forms provided at the Premium Fruit Project Office. The application deadline is 6 p.m. on the 28th.

The city will conduct a three-stage evaluation process on applicant farms to select the "Hwaseong Special City's Best Fruit, Shine Muscat TOP 5." After selecting 30 farms through the first-stage farm evaluation, the city will select the final five farms through the second-stage measurement evaluation and third-stage appearance evaluation.

The finally selected farms will have the opportunity to display and promote their Shine Muscat fruits at the evaluation and exhibition held on September 30th at the Premium Fruit Project Office, representing Hwaseong Special City as outstanding Shine Muscat farms.

Through this evaluation conference, the city expects to enhance the pride of farms producing high-quality Shine Muscat, promote the excellence of Shine Muscat produced in Hwaseong Special City, and raise the brand value of local agricultural products.
