Suwon Special City Dream Start Family Watches Suwon FC Home Game

Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) held a soccer match viewing program on the 22nd at Suwon Sports Complex Main Stadium for approximately 80 Dream Start children and families. The event was made possible with partial sponsorship from the Foundation Suwon FC.

Dream Start children and families participated in a home game tour, visiting the ground and gift shop before the match, then watched Suwon FC play against Gimhae. Suwon FC provided participating families with commemorative items including player cards and autographed balls.

An official from Foundation Suwon FC stated, "It is meaningful to provide Dream Start children and families an opportunity to watch soccer together," and added, "We will continue our social contribution activities to support the healthy growth of local children."

One parent of a participating child said, "Cheering with my child was wonderful, and the time spent touring the ground and gift shop before the match was also very enjoyable," and "The autographed ball received as a memento has become a precious gift for my child."

A Suwon City official stated, "We hope this becomes an opportunity for Dream Start children and families to spend a joyful time together and create precious memories," and added, "Going forward, we will continue to promote diverse cultural and sports experience programs that families can enjoy together in cooperation with the local community."

Suwon City Dream Start provides customized integrated services in health, welfare, and education for vulnerable children aged 12 and under (elementary school students) and their families. Currently, it operates three locations in Seryul, Uman, and Younghwa districts.
