Korea Rehabilitation and Welfare Service Gyeonggi South Branch Launches 'Integrity and Awareness Campaign' at Byeongjeom Station

The Gyeonggi South Branch of the Korea Rehabilitation and Welfare Service (Branch Director Yang Seong-sik) conducted a campaign on the 11th around Byeongjeom Station with the Doeham+ Youth Committee (Chairman Lee Jung-hyo) to raise public awareness of legal rehabilitation projects and promote integrity culture.

The Doeham+ Youth Committee is a volunteer organization of the Gyeonggi South Branch comprising university students who have come together to prevent recidivism and create a safe society by supporting the social reintegration of legal rehabilitation beneficiaries such as released offenders.

This campaign was organized to publicize the corporation's role in supporting the stable social reintegration of released offenders and other legal rehabilitation beneficiaries, and to enhance public understanding and interest in legal rehabilitation projects.

Volunteers conducted surveys and distributed promotional posters to gauge public awareness of legal rehabilitation projects and provide related information. Additionally, they distributed promotional items such as otter-shaped figurines and ballpoint pens symbolizing assistance and cooperation to attract public attention.

In particular, this campaign strengthened the significance of promoting awareness of legal rehabilitation projects and spreading integrity culture in the local community by simultaneously conducting an integrity campaign to promote the values of integrity and the importance of creating a fair and just social culture.

The Gyeonggi South Branch plans to continue implementing various crime prevention activities, including campaigns, to promote integrity culture and create a safe local community.
