'2026 Suwon Youth Career Expo' Successfully Concludes
The Suwon City Youth and Young Adult Foundation(President Choi Jong-jin)Youth Hope Lighthouse announced on the 11th that it successfully concluded the '2026 Suwon Youth Career Expo' for approximately 2,200 middle school students in Suwon.
This expo, marking its 14th edition this year, was jointly organized by Suwon City, Gyeonggi Province Suwon Office of Education, and the Suwon City Youth and Young Adult Foundation, and was held under the theme of ‘Building the Future with AI!’.
The event was designed to allow youth to directly experience the rapidly changing future society and diverse career fields, and to explore career paths suited to their interests and aptitudes. Various experience programs and career activities were prepared to help them design their futures.
Additionally, 85 career experience booths from various fields operated, and to help youth easily and enjoyably explore careers according to their areas of interest, thematic experience spaces were organized, including Young CEO Zone, Career Zone (career pathway), Doctor Dream Zone, Preference ZIP Zone, and Young CEO Zone in partnership with the Suwon Young Merchants Association.Experts and professionals from various fields participated to present experience-focused programs that went beyond simple career information transmission, allowing students to indirectly experience actual work environments.
An official from the Suwon City Youth and Young Adult Foundation stated, “More important than deciding on a career is the process through which youth discover what they like and what they do well through various experiences,” and added, “We hope that this expo, in particular, becomes an opportunity for all youth to discover their potential and freely imagine their futures.”
