Suwon Local Food Direct Store Begins Pre-orders for Chuseok Holiday Gift Sets

Suwon Local Food Direct Store is accepting pre-orders for "Chuseok Holiday Gift Sets" through September 15th ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

The Chuseok Holiday Gift Sets comprise Suwon agricultural products and agricultural products from sister and friendship cities, including △honey sets △Korean beef sets △fruit sets △perilla seed oil and sesame oil sets △red ginseng beverage. Bonghwa apple gift sets are shipped directly from the local area via courier.

Reservations can be made by phone or in-store at Suwon Local Food Direct Store. The deadline for delivery orders is 6 p.m. on September 15th, and shipments will be individually arranged starting from the 16th. Payment can be made by card at the direct store or at the delivery site, and Suwon Pay can also be used.

The in-store sales event runs from September 10th to 23rd. Customers who sign up as members during the event period and purchase 4 million won or more will receive a shopping basket as a gift.

Suwon City opened the Local Food Direct Store on Gwanggyo Mountain Road in Jangan District in November 2016 to reduce distribution steps and directly connect producers with consumers. The direct store, which steadily supplies fresh and healthy food, continues to gain consistent support from citizens.

A Suwon City official stated, "For Chuseok, we have prepared both Suwon agricultural products and agricultural products from sister and friendship cities to expand consumers' choices," and added, "We hope this becomes a holiday where people express their hearts through local agricultural products and provide support to farmers."
