'13th Mae Hall Venture Forum'...Exploring Growth Strategies for Startups in the Age of AI Transformation
Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-joon) held the '13th Mae Hall Venture Forum' on the 3rd at the Samsung Academic Information Center at Sungkyunkwan University, creating an exchange forum among companies, investors, and experts.
The forum was attended by some 40 participants including large, mid-sized, and startup companies, investment firms, relevant institutions, and university officials. The event proceeded with keynote speeches, startup company IR pitching, and networking among participants. IR is an activity in which companies promote their corporate value to investors in order to attract investment.
Woo Simon Sung-il, professor of Software Studies at Sungkyunkwan University, delivered a keynote speech on the topic of 'Startup Survival Strategies in the Age of AI Transformation: From Companies Utilizing AI to Companies Growing Through AI.' The speech introduced strategies for startup companies to secure competitiveness and growth in the era of artificial intelligence transformation.
Following this, The Trip Planner Co., Ltd. and Code24 Co., Ltd. conducted company presentations (IR pitching) to investors, introducing the companies' technologies, business models, and growth strategies.
Companies, investors, and experts engaged in discussions, exploring investment and collaboration possibilities while sharing information and experiences necessary for company growth.
The Mae Hall Venture Forum, jointly hosted by Suwon City and Sungkyunkwan University, is an exchange venue where business leaders, university representatives, investors, and business support institution officials regularly meet to share information and cooperate. The goal is to support investment attraction and growth for startup companies and vitalize the local startup ecosystem.
