Suwon Special City Announces Gender Equality Vision, 'Equality Becomes Our Daily Life'
Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) held the 31st Gender Equality Week Commemorative Event and Policy Forum at the Suwon Convention Center on the 3rd, announcing the gender equality vision, 'Suwon Special City, Where Equality Becomes Our Daily Life.'
Mayor Lee Jae-jun said in his commemorative address, "We will create a city where equality becomes part of our daily lives by gathering the voices of our citizens," and added, "When citizens' wisdom is added, we can create tangible change in our daily lives, and when citizens' voices come together, we can pave a broader path toward gender equality."

(Expansion of Women's Social Participation Division) △Jung Eun-young, Sucake House Suwon Main Branch (Women's Welfare Enhancement and Volunteer Service Division) △Choi Gong-hwan, Branch Manager of IBK Industrial Bank Dong-Suwon Branch (Management and Corporate Contribution to Gender Equality Development).
The gender equality vision announced today, 'Suwon Special City, Where Equality Becomes Our Daily Life,' reflects Suwon City's commitment to expand gender equality from a specific gender issue to a living issue for all citizens and to implement gender equality policies that can be felt throughout daily life.
