Information on 97 Toy Libraries Across Gyeonggi Province Available at a Glance

Starting from the 1st, residents can receive comprehensive information services for each of the 97 toy library branches across 31 cities and counties in Gyeonggi Province through Gyeonggi's public resource integrated reservation system, Gyeonggi Sharing Service.

Toy libraries are public rental facilities operated by city and county comprehensive childcare support centers for infant and young child households, providing a space that relieves parents' financial burden and offers children diverse play opportunities.

Each branch provides diverse public childcare resource services, including traditional toy rentals as well as infant books, first birthday and baby celebration packages and clothing, and childcare supplies.

To enable residents to use local public childcare resources more easily and conveniently, Gyeonggi Province has consolidated the locations and usage information of toy libraries that were previously scattered across city and county websites and childcare support center portals into a single platform at Gyeonggi Sharing Service (share.gg.go.kr).

Key information provided includes △Usage guidelines (eligible users, address, contact information, operating hours) △Membership application method △Rental method △Return method, etc. In particular, residents can quickly search for information about branches near their residential area, which is expected to significantly improve accessibility and convenience for infant and young child parents.

Going forward, the province plans to expand the service features to enable users to reserve toys in real-time on the Gyeonggi Sharing Service website without needing to visit in person.
