Yongin Special City announced on the 31st that it will accept applications for the third quarter youth basic income targeting 24-year-old youth.

This quarter applies to those born between July 2, 2001 and July 1, 2002. Applicants must have resided in Gyeonggi Province for at least three consecutive years or a cumulative total of 10 years or longer.

Applications can be submitted through 'Gyeonggi Province Job Portal Jobaba' (https://apply.jobaba.net).

The youth basic income program provides 250,000 won per quarter, totaling 1 million won annually, in the form of local currency to 24-year-old youth registered as residents of Yongin as of the application date.

As a policy to prepare for the future and guarantee opportunities for youth, it is distributed regardless of income, employment status, or whether applicants are students.

Resident registration copies are automatically submitted through the public MyData service. Some applicants, such as basic livelihood security recipients, must submit required documents separately.

Eligible recipients can receive 250,000 won in the local currency 'Yongin Y-Pay' from October 20 onwards. The subsidy can be freely used at local currency participating merchants within the region. The validity period for the distributed local currency is three years.

For academy tuition and exam application fee items, local currency payment is available throughout Gyeonggi Province or online. However, online payment is only available at merchants linked with local currency payment systems.
