On-site Road Check for "12th Hwaseong Songsan Grape Festival" Opening September 5

Hwaseong Special City conducted an on-site road check on the 28th at the Hwaseong Eco Farm Theme Park to ensure the successful hosting of the "12th Hwaseong Songsan Grape Festival" opening on September 5 and to secure the safety of visitors.

About 20 participants, including First Vice Mayor Yoon Sung-jin of Hwaseong Special City, related government officials, and representatives from relevant agencies, attended the on-site inspection and carefully examined safety management and operational preparations throughout the festival venue.

The city is prioritizing the safety and convenience of visitors to the festival and concentrating administrative efforts on event preparation. The inspection team confirmed on-site details including △the establishment of temporary parking lots and grape sales areas △the installation of safety fences in the operating sections of the trackless grape train △and plans for deploying safety personnel in major program operation areas.

Additionally, the city will strengthen emergency response systems including fire and medical services to prepare for unexpected situations that may occur during the festival period. The city will maintain emergency evacuation routes within the venue at all times, deploy emergency medical personnel and ambulances, and establish close cooperative systems with related agencies including police and fire services to focus on accident prevention and prompt initial response.

First Vice Mayor Yoon Sung-jin of Hwaseong Special City stated, "Since the Hwaseong Songsan Grape Festival is a representative festival that promotes the superior agricultural products of Hwaseong Special City, a safe and pleasant festival venue must be created where many citizens and visitors can enjoy it with peace of mind," and urged, "Before the opening, carefully inspect every corner of the venue to prevent safety accidents and make full preparations so that visitors can enjoy the festival without inconvenience."

Meanwhile, the "12th Hwaseong Songsan Grape Festival" will be held over two days, September 5-6, at the Hwaseong Eco Farm Theme Park. In addition to various experience programs such as grape harvesting and grape treading, the event will feature direct trade markets for Hwaseong Songsan grapes, citizen karaoke contests, and various other attractions and entertainment.
