21st Suwon Hwaseong Cup National Amateur Jokgu Tournament with 120 Teams

The 21st Suwon Hwaseong Cup National Amateur Jokgu Tournament was held for two days starting August 29 at the artificial turf field of Hwasan Sports Park (Byeongjeom-gu, Hwaseong City).

The tournament, hosted by the Suwon Jokgu Association, drew approximately 1,000 jokgu enthusiasts from across the nation (120 teams).

The opening ceremony held on the 29th was attended by Kim Mi-gyeong, the speaker of the Suwon Metropolitan City Council, city council members, officials from Suwon City, and officials from the Suwon Jokgu Association.

A Suwon City official said, "We welcome all national jokgu enthusiasts participating in the 21-year tradition of the Suwon Hwaseong Cup Jokgu Tournament," and added, "After enjoying an exciting competition, we hope you will visit Suwon's attractive tourist attractions and take away unforgettable memories."
