Suwon City Choir Holds 'Lawn Concert - A Midsummer Night's Sing-along'

The '2026 Lawn Concert - A Midsummer Night's Sing-along' will be held on the evening of the 28th at Suwon Outdoor Music Theater (Ingyedong), where citizens can sit on the grass and enjoy performances by the Suwon City Choir.

This year's concert is designed as a 'Citizens' Unity Stage,' where the Suwon City Choir will perform alongside amateur citizen choirs of Suwon on the same stage, singing together with the audience. The performance also unfolds as a 'Sing-along,' breaking down the boundary between stage and audience and inviting all attendees to sing along.

Today's performance, conducted by Art Director Kim Bo-mi, began with an overture created by the Project Pops Orchestra and contemporary dance team (Orbit Project), followed by a selection of masterpieces.

Lee Jae-jun, Mayor of Suwon Special City, who attended the lawn concert, said, "I hope many citizens will join us at the rich autumn festivals held in Suwon."
