Hwaseong FC to Face Chungbuk Cheongju in Round 24 Matchup at Hwaseong Sports Complex on 29th

K League 2's Hwaseong FC will face Chungbuk Cheongju FC in a Round 24 matchup at Hwaseong Sports Complex at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th.

This match marks Hwaseong FC's final home game of the 2026 season. As Hwaseong Sports Complex is undergoing facility maintenance ahead of hosting the 2027 National Sports Festival, Hwaseong FC will conduct all remaining league matches as away games starting in September. To mark the early conclusion of home games, the club has prepared a variety of programs to express gratitude to fans for their unwavering support.

Outside the stadium, a 'K League Stamp Tour booth,' part of the K League project to increase attendance, will offer a range of entertainment including shooting darts, stopwatch challenges, water balloon shooting, and photo zones. Additionally, a 'Support Message booth' will operate where fans can leave messages for Hwaseong FC, which will be displayed during the team's post-match closing remarks. The official supporters group 'Orange Shouting' will also run a promotional booth to boost the cheering atmosphere for the final home game.

Meaningful events will also take place on the field. The pre-match ceremony will feature an entrance by flag-bearers including children from Good Neighbors' Korean-Chinese community, followed by a partnership agreement signing with official sponsor Hanavision Systems. At halftime, a gratitude plaque presentation ceremony will be held for the volunteer fire brigade that supported home game operations throughout the 2026 season.

A 'special ticket promotion discount' is also being offered to commemorate the final home game. Discounts of 50% on E-section (or R-section) seats are available for elementary, middle, and high school students from Hwaseong and Osan (applicant and one accompanying person), university students located in Hwaseong, corporate employees, and Hwaseong City civil servants. Military personnel, police officers, and firefighters can purchase E-section seats for 1,000 won. Group ticket purchases of 10 or more people are also eligible for 50% discounts on W-section and E-section seats. Ticket holders can present verification documents at the on-site ticket counter to purchase discounted tickets.
