Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Announces 383 Final Successful Candidates for Local Public Service Competitive Examination

Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Education Superintendent An Min-seok) announced on the 15th the final list of successful candidates for the '2026 Second Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Local Public Service Competitive Examination,' which will lead the transformation of Gyeonggi Province education.

A total of 383 candidates were successful, with recruitment by 7 field categories as follows: △Educational Administration 305 candidates △Information Technology 34 candidates △Engineering 15 candidates (General Mechanical 5, General Electrical 10) △Public Health 3 candidates △Food Sanitation 11 candidates △Facilities 14 candidates (Architecture) △Records and Archives Research 1 candidate.

By age distribution of final successful candidates, those in their 20s comprised the largest portion at 65% (249 people), followed by those in their 30s at 27.4% (105 people), 40 years and older at 7.1% (27 people), and teenagers at 0.5% (2 people). The average age of successful candidates is 29 years, with the youngest successful candidate at 18 years old and the oldest at 51 years old.

Successful candidates must visit in person to register as employment candidates in accordance with the employment candidate registration announcement. Test takers from the Uijeongbu area can register on the 21st, while those from the Suwon area can register on the 22nd and 23rd by visiting the designated location with their identification and registration documents.

If there are no grounds for employment disqualification, successful candidates will sequentially receive new appointments after completing basic training for employment candidates starting in November.

Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education hopes that these successful candidates will grow into talented individuals who support educational sites reliably and create the future of Gyeonggi Province education based on their sense of responsibility and expertise as civil servants.
