Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Province Agricultural Products Promotion Foundation will hold a 'Chuseok Special Promotion Event' for three days from the 16th to 18th at Gyeonggi Agricultural Food Centers located in Nonghyup Hanaro Marts in Goyang, Seongnam, and Suwon.

During the event, the Gyeonggi Agricultural Food Centers will sell certified premium agricultural specialties of Gyeonggi Province (G-Mark), including pears, grapes, and apples at approximately 30% discounted prices.

On the 16th at 2 p.m. at the Goyang branch, the 17th at 3 p.m. at the Seongnam branch, and the 18th at 2 p.m. at the Suwon branch, first-come-first-served discount events featuring seasonal fruits specialized for each location will also be held. Provincial assemblymen including Chairman Seo Gwang-beom of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council's Agriculture and Ocean Affairs Committee, Vice-Chairman Go Eun-jung, and council members Choi Man-sik and Park Ok-bun will participate in the daily promotional events.

"We have prepared this special event to alleviate the financial burden of holiday shopping and promote income growth for local farmers," said Choi Chang-su, Director of the Gyeonggi Province Agricultural Products Promotion Foundation. "We hope for keen interest in the event so that both Gyeonggi Province farmers and residents can have a happy Chuseok," he added.
