Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) will hold music performances, festivals, and experience events throughout parks and major cultural spaces in Suwon for the month of September.

The city has prepared diverse cultural and leisure content including the '2026 New Light Park Festival' where citizens can enjoy a rich autumn at nearby parks, as well as drone and fireworks festivals, jazz performances, park concerts, and neighborhood festivals.

The 2026 New Light Park Festival will run through September 30 at Manseok Park. At three locations including Gwanggyo Lake Park, the single-person household group running program 'Together Running for Single-Person Households' Season 2 will operate until the 16th (every Wednesday).

Large-scale cultural and arts events will adorn autumn nights with performances and lights. The '2026 Suwon Jazz Fringe Festa' was held in the Hwaseong Palace and Haenggung-dong areas from September 4-6, and upcoming events include △the '2026 Suwon Drone and Fireworks Festival' at Gwanggyo Lake Park and Suwon Convention Center (September 9) △the '2026 Park Concert' at Ingye Art Park (September 11) △the '2026 Suwon Palaces Connected Gathering' at Hwaseong Palace Plaza (September 12) △the '2026 Suwon Jazz Festival' at Gwanggyo Lake Park's Fun Farm (September 18-19).

From September 19 to October 6, the '2026 Hwaseong Palace Media Art' will be held at Jangan Park and the areas around Hwaseo Gate and Jangan Gate.

Neighborhood festivals and experience programs will take place throughout the parks. On September 12, the following events will be held: △the 'Maetan 4-dong Sandraemi Sparrow Valley Festival' at Maetan Park △the 'Yeongdeok 2-dong Harmony Festival' at Byeokjeokgol Park △the 'National Youth Music Competition' at Gwanggyo Lake Park.

On September 19, events will be held in various locations: △'Well-Mannered Dog Certification Education' at Seo Lake Park Lawn Plaza △the '18th Multicultural One Family Festival' at Ingye Art Park △'Yeongdeok 1-dong Flea Market' at Dano Children's Park △the '8th Homaesl Plum Blossom Festival' at Dureuttul Park △the '3rd Yeongdeok 3-dong Happiness Sharing Festival' at Park Ji-sung Children's Park △the '35th Suwon Green Agriculture Festival' at Tapdong Citizens' Farm, and other festivals combining ecology, culture, and welfare.

A Suwon City official stated, "In September, there is a series of events from large-scale performances to neighborhood festivals and experience programs that can be enjoyed nearby," and added, "We hope citizens will enjoy various events with family and neighbors and create autumn memories."
