Mayor Kim Sung-je of Uiwang Visits Induk-won SK View to Listen to Residents' Requests
Mayor Kim Sung-je of Uiwang visited Induk-won SK View Apartment complex on the 3rd to hold a "Mayor's Office on the Road" session and communicate with residents.
At the site, Mayor Kim explained the progress on 16 matters requested by residents last year and major projects of his current administrative term in the presence of approximately 150 residents.
In particular, he provided detailed explanations of the measures the city has taken regarding follow-up on suggestions received during last year's "Mayor's Office on the Road" sessions, allowing residents to confirm how their opinions are actually reflected in city administration.
During the subsequent residents' feedback session, opinions were mainly presented regarding matters closely related to the daily lives of new apartment residents, including △preparations for snow removal on slopes △enforcement of parking violations △requests for adjustments to bus service intervals.
Mayor Kim Sung-je stated, "I find it even more meaningful to hear the voices of our residents again this year," and added, "I believe that transparently disclosing the progress on residents' suggestions and listening to new opinions is true communicative administration."
Meanwhile, the "Mayor's Office on the Road" is Uiwang City's representative communicative administration initiative, where Mayor Kim Sung-je directly visits citizens' living spaces to hear residents' voices and discuss local issues. Going forward, the city plans to continue visiting citizens' daily lives directly and actively reflect field voices in city policies.
