The Suwon Labor-Management-Government Consultative Council held a labor-management-government cooperation forum on the 2nd at 4 p.m. in the conference hall of Paldal-gu Office with the theme of 'Care Respected in Suwon'.

The forum was organized to understand the current status of care services in Suwon and explore ways to guarantee the rights of care workers in line with the progress of integrated care initiatives. The event was attended by care service workers and officials from relevant labor-management-government organizations in Suwon, who joined forces to improve the regional care labor environment.

Kim Hyun-chul, director of the Local Human Research Institute, served as the keynote speaker, presenting on the types of care services in Suwon and measures to guarantee the rights of care workers.

During the discussion and case presentation session, on-site workers from four occupations participated — ▲care assistants ▲elderly life support workers ▲disability support workers ▲and childcare providers — to share authentic voices from the field.

An official from the Labor-Management-Government Consultative Council stated, "This forum is a meaningful opportunity to reconsider the value of care labor and directly listen to the voices from the field," and added, "We will continue to discuss substantive policy measures to create an environment where care workers can work with respect and dignity."
