Suwon Office of Education Meets with Incumbent and New Principals to Discuss Education Support System
The Suwon Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Hye-ri) held a meeting with incumbent and new principals on the 2nd in the superintendent's office.
The gathering was arranged to welcome principals who are embarking on a new chapter as part of the Suwon education family and to strengthen the education support system based on communication and collaboration by listening to the voices from school settings.
The event proceeded in the following order: △superintendent's welcoming remarks and introduction of attendees △sharing of major issues and vision in Suwon education △open discussion and opinion gathering for supporting school sites. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on various educational issues, including operating customized curricula reflecting regional characteristics, creating a safe school environment centered on students, and establishing a foundation for future education.
Superintendent Kim Hye-ri stated, "I sincerely welcome the principals and teachers who have become new members of the Suwon education family," and added, "The Office of Education will continue to provide unwavering support and communication so that schools can build happy educational communities based on autonomy."
One newly appointed principal who attended the meeting shared, "It was a meaningful occasion to understand the direction of Suwon education and share the concerns of each school," and said, "I will do my best to create a happy school by prioritizing the growth of our students."
