Suwon Scholarship Foundation Selects 388 Elementary, Middle and High School Scholarship Recipients
The Suwon Scholarship Foundation will select 388 elementary, middle and high school scholarship recipients for the second half of 2026.
Eligible applicants are students currently enrolled in elementary, middle and high schools located in Suwon City who have maintained a residential address in Suwon for at least two years as of the announcement date (August 27), as well as out-of-school youth (high school curriculum level).
Scholarship categories are: △Excellence (51 recipients) △Hope (217 recipients) △Filial Piety and Good Deeds (10 recipients) △Special Talent (6 recipients) △Science (4 recipients) △Happiness (51 recipients) △Love (11 recipients) △Dream Development (8 recipients) △Emergency Welfare (15 recipients) △Love Plus (15 recipients) across 10 categories.
Scholarship amounts per person are 400,000 won for elementary students, 500,000 won for middle school students, and 700,000 won for high school students. A total of 22.17 million won will be distributed.
Excellence Scholarship is for students with outstanding academic performance, Hope Scholarship is for students from low-income families, and Filial Piety and Good Deeds Scholarship is for students who practice filial piety and good deeds, serving as role models to others.
Special Talent Scholarship is for students with exceptional talent in art, music, sports, literature and other fields, Science Scholarship is for students with outstanding talent in science, Happiness Scholarship is for students from families with three or more children.
Love Scholarship is for students from multicultural families, Dream Development Scholarship is for low-income family students striving to obtain licenses for career development, Emergency Welfare Scholarship is for students from economically crisis households and welfare blind spot families, and Love Plus Scholarship is for low-income family students sponsored by local community organizations.
Recommending institutions must submit online applications on the Suwon Scholarship Foundation homepage (www.suwon4u.or.kr) from September 7 at 9 a.m. to September 14 at 6 p.m., followed by submission of application forms and required documents via registered mail (Suwon Scholarship Foundation, 3rd Floor, Suwon Lifelong Learning Center, 2 World Cup-ro 381-gil, Paldal-gu, Suwon). Applications are valid until the postmark date on the submission deadline.

The Suwon Scholarship Foundation has awarded a total of 12.579 billion won in scholarships to 14,247 students from 2006 to the present.
